Springfield, IL - The Illinois General Assembly concluded final action on bills left over from the now completed 94th General Assembly, and swore in new lawmakers among several activities this week in the Illinois Senate, according to State Senator Pamela Althoff (R-Crystal Lake).
The Senate convened a rare Sunday session on January 7, and used the day to override a gubernatorial veto on legislation that would allow specific Illinois school districts to borrow money for construction and adjust their tax structure to suit budgetary needs." /> Skip to Main Content
