Springfield, IL- State Senator Pamela Althoff (R-Crystal Lake) toured the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at St. John’s Hospital in Springfield on Wednesday, November 19 and discussed the dangers of premature birth with hospital officials. The March of Dimes invited Senator Althoff and other legislators to the facility in an effort to raise awareness of the complications associated with premature birth.
“For 70 years, the March of Dimes has worked to eliminate childhood diseases and provide services to children born before full term,” Althoff said. “We need to support vital organizations like the March of Dimes, and help make their goals realities." /> Skip to Main Content
